Polzela (pronounced [ˈpoːu̯zɛla] ) is a settlement and municipality in Slovenia. It lies on the left bank of the Savinja River extending into the Ložnica Hills (Slovene: Ložniško gričevje) to the north. The area was part of the traditional region of Styria. It is now included in the Savinja Statistical Region.
